Neurodiversity 101: Neurodiversity in the Workplace

Neurodiversity awareness is on the rise, and so are diagnoses of autism, ADHD, and other conditions that affect how people think, communicate and feel. What is neurodiversity, and why does understanding and addressing it matter more than ever in the workplace?

In this energizing virtual session on March 26 from 8 - 9:30 AM Central Time, Jessica Michaels unpacks what it means to be neurodivergent at work. Through a mix of storytelling, science, and humor, she shows how small, no-cost changes can lead to a neuroinclusive environment where all employees (not just neurodivergent ones) can thrive.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain what neurodiversity is (and what it isn’t)
  • Recognize how different brains process, react, and communicate
  • Take everyday actions that support neuroinclusion, reduce friction, and make room for brilliance, without needing to “fix” anyone.

Bonus: As an extra benefit participants will also receive 30 day free access to the online course Supporting Neurodiversity in the Workplace.
