Program Summary 

Creating and Sustaining a Diverse Talent Pipeline

To diversify your workforce, you first need a diverse pool of job candidates to choose from. Join us at The Center of Clayton (or virtually on Zoom) on May 16 starting at 4:15 for pre-program networking, and then from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to hear from Kesha Kent, BA, MAOL and discover strategies for attracting and retaining diverse talent. She’ll focus on outreach, networking, partnerships, mentorship programs, and other approaches to creating a talent pipeline that matches your firm’s needs.

Objectives:

  • Formulate a real-world plan for connecting with and retaining diverse candidates.
  • Develop ways to better utilize your teams, community, and clients.
  • Define and establish clear, realistic, and measurable ways to connect and build solid relationships.
  • Analyze the art of building teams that are loyal and feel a sense of belonging.

About the Speaker:

Kesha Kent, BA, MAOL

Kesha Kent, BA, MAOL

Kesha is a wife, mother, a High Energy Speaker, and two-time author. She wrote her first book Networking it’s your Superpower and released it on Juneteenth 2020! She has over 20 years of experience in Talent Development, Training, Development and Talent Acquisition.

Her current role is National Diversity Talent Strategist with Husch Blackwell, a national Top 100 law firm, with over 800+ lawyers in more than 20 offices across the United States.

Kesha is a Distinguished Toastmasterthe highest award level within Toastmasters, and Division Director with District 8 Toastmasters International.

She has shared her expertise as panelist and keynote speaker for media outlets such as Oprah Daily and a diverse group of businesses and organizations, including, Ameren, Hire Level Staffing, Dress for Success, Washington University at St. Louis, to name a few.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Leadership and a master’s in Organizational Leadership, both from Judson University.
