St. Louis region's network for OD professionals.
OD practitioners know that active listening and open-ended questions are the gateway to reflection and learning. So, what was it about a coaching strategy – conducted in a group setting – that was voluntary and entirely self-directed – that lead to statistically measurable outcomes and sustainment over time?
Dr. Kerri Burchill will take us through her work with a group of healthcare leaders and share the outcomes in this program along with demonstrating the crucial role OD experts play in facilitating group coaching as it relates to fostering and measuring soft skill development. She will explore examples of how participants statistically measured their soft skill growth in areas such as overcoming the fear of failure, developing stronger relationships, and understanding personal triggers. Attendees will learn skills they can implement in facilitating group coaching and group reflection – skills such as group coaching to enhance the group’s active listening and ability to ask open-ended questions.
