In the late 90’s and early 2000’s, Billy Beane of the Oakland A’s built a team based on data analytics of players stats (and providing the plot for an entertaining movie starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill).  What data analysis, and not headlined star players, revealed to him was the driving force for this change of thinking.  Can you help build a winning team in your organization looking at the data you have available?  What matters and what are the most important factors in using “Big Data?”  What do you have available in your organization?
Ray will cover benefits to collecting and analyzing data and why you don’t have to be a quantitative analyst to accomplish this.  Based on his work with a number of learning and development providers, we’ll cover how data available to you can make the business case for OD interventions addressing employee engagement and how you can identify opportunities for improving employee performance.

Ray Halagera assists organizations in maximizing their profits through consulting and customized learning in leadership and career development, and assisting clients in making the business case for learning and development and other HR initiatives.
