Work Through Real Life Challenges in This Collaborative In-Person Event Using Open Space Technology

Program Summary

Got a challenge you’d like to work through with a group of colleagues? Or, do you just love sharing ideas and knowledge to help others with their OD challenges? Either way, this is the place to be on April 18, 2024 from 4:15 - 6 PM at The Heights Community Center.

Program Itinerary

  • Meet & Greet: 4:15 to 4:30
We invite all attendees to arrive by 4:15 for a chance to network with peers.
  • Kickoff: 4:30 to 4:45
Your program facilitator will kick the event off by providing a quick overview of the principles of Open Space Technology (OST). We will use this methodology to solution-source in multiple groups working various challenges in a highly interactive session.
  • Small Groups: 4:45 to 6
It’s all up to you! Those bringing a challenge will be able to describe their situation and small groups will form around the topics that interest them the most. Those bringing the topic will facilitate the small group. Groups can work through as many topics as they have time for.

Don’t feel you can contribute to a certain challenge? Everyone is invited to use the “law of two feet” at any time to move to another group as needed.

This is a great opportunity to not just meet more people in your profession, but to get to know them better while working together to solve a challenge. Don’t miss it!

Please note, the program will begin promptly at 4:30. This is an in-person only event. There will NOT be a virtual option.
