PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Change Management practices often give a nod to the use of social media to support communications plans and as a channel for pushing information.  There is more to it when the community aspect of social media is considered. Within social spaces, cultures form, understanding is created, and groups develop strategies and tactics for dealing with change.  Effectively using these tools to create a sense of solidarity, cohesion, and progress during change efforts is challenging but also incredibly rewarding and useful.  This talk will provide some practical and some aspirational ways to think about incorporating social media in your organizational development and change management efforts.  Dr. Julie Williamson will offer observations from her research and from her hands-on experiences in working with clients to bring social tools to bear.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Sept. 10th at 5:00 p.m.
