PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Back by popular demand… For our November 2013 program, we are bringing back one of the most well-received contributors from our 2012 event calendar: Jim Clarkson.

Effective execution of business strategy in increasingly complex markets depends on having capable leadership talent.  Organization and Leadership Development leaders are challenged to prepare leaders to adapt and perform in an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous business environment.  To accomplish this, a new leadership development agenda is emerging.  Inherent in this agenda is the ongoing need to demonstrate evidence of the effectiveness of approaches used, such as executive coaching, in ways that are meaningful to a variety of leadership stakeholders, including financial decision makers.

Jim will lead an interactive program where participants will explore:

  • An overview of the emerging leadership development agenda;
  • Alternative ways of thinking about leadership development coaching;
  • How leadership coaching can actively and effectively further the goals of the emerging leadership development agenda; and
  • How to measure the impact of leadership coaching on business performance.

Participants will achieve a clearer understanding of the emerging leadership development agenda and key characteristics of leadership coaching approaches that can support that agenda.
