PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Peer Coaching – The Power of Peers
By Jonathan Jones

Birds of a feather tend to flock together:  People like to be surrounded by people they like and who are similar to themselves. While just figures of speech to some, it reflects a simple truth—the company we keep (and confide in) often determines the level of personal growth and professional success we achieve in life.
In this interactive program, we will be discussing the power of peer groups and how they help a variety of executives and professionals achieve above average results.
We will review the key principles for successful peer collaboration:

  • What type of peer group is right for developing professionals?
  • How do we create a safe and confidential environment?
  • What is the best formula for successful peer groups?
  • How is it possible to foster valuable interaction?
  • How can we establish accountability?
  • Who is right for YOUR peer group?

Understanding these principles, we will participate in hands-on exercises, so you can consider if a peer groups can be valuable to your company OD practice.
