PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Experience-Based Leadership Development

A very popular organization development intervention is the development of leadership capabilities through programs.   While programs are one important element of a holistic leadership development approach, traditional approaches tend to ignore the reality that the vast majority of a leader’s development comes from experience.   This session will identify what companies are doing to be more intentional about developing leaders through experience and engage participants in discussion about how they can apply experience-based leadership development in their own organizations.
