PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Join us for this evening session at the Ballpark Village downtown to hear about how the Ballpark Village finally came to be after years of stakeholder discussions.  Jim Watry, Chief Operation Officer, will be taking us on the journey of how this project became a success.  We’ll also hear about how Ballpark Village is attempting to change the culture of St. Louis downtown nightlife.

The session will start at 5:30PM with food and appetizers available beginning at 5:00 PM.  This is also our bring-a-friend session where members can bring a non-member at the member rate..

BIO(s):

Jim has worked in the Hospitality Industry since he was 14 and has had the pleasure of managing operations for Pat Hanon, Harry Belli, Tim Mallett and Gilbert/Robinson Inc while in St. Louis.  In July of 2007, Jim was named District Manager of Kansas City’s Power & Light Entertainment District by the Cordish Company. Since July 2013, Jim has served as Chief Operation Officer of Ballpark Village and directs all facets of its day to day operations.

Jim served on the Board of the Kirkwood/Des Peres Area Chamber of Commerce from 2005-07. In KC, Jim was an active member of the Kansas City Sertoma Club, The KC Regional Advisory Council and the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni. Jim has been elected to the board of the St. Louis Sports Commission effective January 2015.
